Belly Fat and Hormone Balancing Diet: Part 1

Note that when you follow the suggestions here and in part 2 and 3, it will dramatically help you to balance your hormones and reduce belly fat without the need for additional prescriptions or surgery.

Are you a brittle diabetic?

In other words, are you currently receiving insulin injections?

Or, do you take medication for your blood sugar like Metformin?

If so, you would be wise to pick up a glucometer and use it to measure your blood sugar several times a day.

You will need to know how to use the glucometer and be extremely compliant with checking your blood sugar so that you don’t have too many wild blood sugar swings.  The reason why this is so important is because you will be using the glucometer to help you self-regulate your insulin doses or Metformin doses or whatever medications you are using to help control your blood sugar.  In fact, you will likely be given specific nutrients to help address the underlying causes of your blood sugar imbalances and those nutrients will help you to keep your blood sugar down but you don’t want to over do it, otherwise you can end up with hypoglycemia.  You don’t want to under do it either, because then you could end up in a diabetic coma.

Emotional

One of the major difficulties with diabetes and pre-diabetes and similar blood sugar imbalances is emotional upsets.  Swallowed negative emotions can lead to nearly any health concern you can imagine as can a poor diet.  Therefore, you will need the support of a healthcare provider that knows how to treat subclinical structural, chemical and emotional and spiritual imbalances.  What better system of treatment could there possibly be to treat these complex blood sugar imbalances than The Skolnikoff Method and the New Medicine for a New You.  The Skolnikoff Method utilizes other advanced healing systems such as Total Body Modification and Neuro Emotional Technique and Professional Applied Kinesiology and Craniosacral therapies.  These techniques provide an entire sugar control program to help you balance your blood sugar.  You must learn how to live in your own body, but you should never think that you cannot EVER have a certain food.  Because, if that is the way that you are thinking then it is likely that you will not be very compliant with this regime that we will be introducing.

Dr. Skolnikoff, How Does the Blood Sugar Control Program Work?

What Do I Need to Do to Integrate the Blood Sugar Control Program Into My Life?

What Actions Do You Need to Take to Integrate the Blood Sugar Control Program?

The best way to retrain your body, mind, spirit, hormones, neurotransmitters and chemistry to all work together as a team is to do the following:

  1. For the first 2 weeks you must follow the program completely with no deviations.  You may need to see your healthcare provider as much as 3 times a week during this period of time (this is not necessary if you are utilizing The Skolnikoff Method).
  2. If you fail the hyperglycemia test or the hypoglycemia test then those 2 weeks start over.  When you pass the test with flying colors over the course of 2 weeks then you can have a “challenge” meal the evening before you see your healthcare provider to stress your body and see if you will pass the test.  If your leg test is strong after the stress meal the evening before then you can bring back the one food that you miss the most two to four times a week at the most and work together with your healthcare provider to see how things go.  You will then need to have two treatment visits per week with your healthcare provider for the next 2 weeks.  You may keep bringing back more foods into your diet as long as you are testing strong to the hypoglycemia test, the hyperglycemia test and oppositic blood sugar test (also known as 51% test by some).  If you continue to test strong to these tests then you can reduce your weekly visits to your healthcare provider down to 1 time per week for 2 weeks and then once every 2 weeks for a month or two.  At the end of this process you should be in control of your blood sugar metabolism and be able to judge your ability to handle stress and food compatibly.
  3. What ethnic background you are matters.  This helps your healthcare provider determine your dietary requirements.  For example, hispanic people are often allergic to corn.  German people and jews are often allergic to dairy or milk products.  It is nearly impossible for most humans to be a vegetarian and be healthy, because we are built on a meat protein building block.  It takes about twelve generations to change from meat protein to vegetable protein.

Sugar Control Program

The autonomic nervous system (ANS) is the seat of regulation for all body functions.  When working properly, the body is able to heal, detoxify, digest and effectively deal with stress.  The Autonomic Recovery Program / Blood Sugar Control Program is designed to restore proper function and balance to your ANS in the shortest period of time possible.  The Blood Sugar Control Program results in restoring you to a state of optimal function and creating a foundation for wellness that will last a lifetime.  Used in conjunction with a multitude of Skolnikoff Method therapies and follow up care, the Sugar Control Program re-establishes healthy blood sugar regulation, proper digestion, balanced hormones and, ultimately, sound autonomic nervous system function and, therefore, a healthy, symptom-free body.  The Sugar Control Program is designed to RETRAIN YOU to support your body’s physiology instead of work against it.  The three principal pillars of the Sugar Control Program are a NOURISHING, CLEAN DIET, regular exercise, and supporting a circadian rhythm.  Essentially, a diet, exercise and rest program.  This program must be adhered to very strictly until the Challenge Meal has been completed successfully (approximately 3 weeks).  As your condition improves, various aspects of this program will be relaxzed as deemed permissible by your healthcare provider.  Plan to work with your healthcare provider for a period of about 4 to 5 months to complete the Sugar Control Program.  Throughout the Sugar Control Program your healthcare provider will continuously monitor proper functioning of blood sugar regulation, hydration and other functions.

Note: The dietary portion of the Sugar Control Program is primarily centered on European nourishing traditions, but can easily be adapted to suit any race and ethnicity.  Work closely with your healthcare provider to customize the diet to match your inherited dietary needs.

Humans are suffering unnecessary health problems due to abandoning the practices, adhered to by our forbearers, which enabled them to survive famines, pestilences, wars, plagues, severe personal loss, extreme weather and prolonged periods of physical exertion.  It is by a return to the practices of our ancestors that we will be able to create healthy bodies.  The core of these practices includes: resolving stress, following your circadian rhythms, drinking only water, avoiding toxic chemicals, regular physical activity, eating a nourishing diet, avoiding un-nourishing foods, reduced caloric intake, structural care and good posture, and “listening to the body.”

RESOLVE STRESS

Our body’s crumble under chronic stress.  We do just fine with “revolving door stressors,” but a continual stressor disrupts the ANS and leads to poor health.  For a simple example, if you lose your job and it is your only source of income and then you go on unemployment that can be a beginning stress.  However, if much of your identity comes from the type of work that you do and you keep working and working to find more work… you are sending out resumes and nothing seems to help then you have prolonged stress.  After 6 months of sending out resumes and looking for more work then you become even more stressed.  Any and all stressful situations require resolution.  Calming and relaxing activities such as meditation, yoga, other forms of stretching, visualization, biofeedback, extra sleep, prayer, regular sunshine that hits as much surface area of your skin as possible, hot baths or showers and various forms of safe aerobic (heart healthy) exercise help to combat the negative effects of ongoing stress.  However, the cause of the stress must eventually be addressed and the sooner the better!  You should work directly with your healthcare provider as a team, alone or in conjunction with a highly trained and skilled practitioner of TBM, NET, AK, acupuncture, chiropractic or a combination of all of these things like The Skolnikoff Method.  Talk therapy can also be helpful for some people but since the Skolnikoff Method provides even more effective therapies than talk therapy and those therapies can literally be done anywhere in the world.  One might really consider the Skolnikoff Method over traditional talk therapy.  The goal is to bring the stressful situation to a peaceful resolution.  Sometime getting a different perspective on your stressful situation can make all the difference.
