WHEN COMMON SENSE BECOMES UNCOMMON
This post was sent out as a newsletter, the first to be sent out in the last 5 months. I don’t know where the time has gone. Plus, I broke my promise. I had promised in the last newsletter to do a newsletter twice a month and it never happened. There have been a lot of changes at the Triad Of Health Family Wellness Clinic. Things look the same but they are completely different. There is a new copy machine, some new plants, new restrooms and new roof. We now carry an entire line of non-toxic skin care, body care, hair care, toothpaste and sunscreen. We are constantly striving to help you, your friends, and the people of this community and surrounding communities to be healthier. It has been difficult for me to see patients over the years who have been poisoning themselves and don’t even know it. This is why we now have these personal care products in the office.
One of our most amazing developments is in the area of Energy Medicine. Previously, one of my mentors instructed me to study classical homeopathy and to purchase an entire pharmacy. While I hesitated at first, I finally decided to purchase the $8,000 kit. While it has not proved very profitable, it has helped my patients immensely. Some people had skin conditions vanish after one treatment. Urinary Tract Infections now would magically disappear at the end of a single treatment! People who had suffered from poor digestion were nearly completely better after being treated only once and only sometimes a second treatment would be needed. Several months ago I was told to get a kit that contains all of the elements known (except for those which are radioactive.) This was also a considerable added expense. However, now 90% of patients no longer need any homeopathy at all as this element kit addresses the underlying “causes” of the need for homeopathy. This saves every patient an average of about $40 to $50 per visit. The element kit addresses the energetic imbalances that homeopathy treats on a vibrational level. Allow me to share with you the experience of one patient in particular. She had not been sleeping in months. After only one treatment using the element kit and other total kinesiology therapies, she was able to sleep soundly throughout the night. She had been to numerous doctors who had been trying to help her with her sleep using numerous different therapies. She had been in several different sleep studies and had had numerous laboratory analysis done. None of those things had helped much. Ambien had probably been the most helpful thing. Ambien is toxic and causes damage to the brain and will often throw off a person’s balance and equilibrium and cause them to have foggy thinking – not such good side effects.
At the Triad Of Health, we are always on the cutting edge. The only really huge challenge is that there are so many health care providers out there doing so many different things that people become confused. They don’t know where to turn. They don’t know what to do. I have found that more than 50% of my patients actually choose their health care provider based on whether or not they like their mannerisms and personality and not based upon their credentials, training and clinical results. Perhaps this is why I discussed my training in the last newsletter 5 months ago. To summarize my training let’s just put it this way: I have a lot of training – 10 years more training than the majority of Medical Doctors. The overwhelming majority of clinical approaches do not take into account the Triad Of Health. This is why I keep going on and on and on about the Triad Of Health and how important it is to address the underlying causes of one’s health concerns structurally, chemically and emotionally.
Let’s get back to this confusing health care situation. Let’s take for example a male named Jim who is in his late 30s and is having trouble with his health. Where does he go for help with his health? What is Jim to do? Let’s say he is suffering from chronic fatigue and he knows he is tired all the time and doesn’t really need anyone to tell him that; then what does he do? Well, he could see a medical doctor and they would probably do blood labs first to determine what is going on and if the lab were to reveal that he was low in Thyroid Hormone or Testosterone then they would give him Thyroid Medication or Testosterone. The only challenge here is that Thyroid Hormones do not travel in the blood, they travel in the lymph system and so a blood lab may not reveal a Thyroid dysfunction – even if it is severe. Much of the Thyroid hormone is converted from inactive Thyroid hormone (bound and inactive) to active Thyroid Hormone (free fraction physiologically active) in peripheral body tissue such as muscles and ligaments and the liver and kidneys and also the digestive tract. So there is no way to do a biopsy of all of these tissues to determine what is happening with the Thyroid. If such a biopsy were possible to perform it would cost in excess of $10,000. I don’t think many people have that extra cash lying around. So, perhaps the doctor would misdiagnose Jim because Thyroid disease is not revealed on the blood lab. This could potentially be a HUGE mistake. Keep in mind that the average M.D. simply does not have the training to know that a blood lab is ineffective when looking at Thyroid dysfunction. This is NEVER the way that thyroid disease was diagnosed in the past. Feel free to read “Hypothyroidism, the Unsuspected Illness” by Dr. Broda Barnes M.D. In the past Thyroid disease was diagnosed when the patient was found to have imbalances in their lipid levels. For example, there would often be an excessively high cholesterol ratio as well as commonly found high triglycerides. Total cholesterol might also be high. However, today they just screen for whether or not to give Thyroid Medication. This is the main approach. And, when they see the lipid panel with major imbalances then they say that their patient has trouble with their heart. Where do they come up with this stuff? All the research shows otherwise. According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, for people who are 65 years old or older, the higher their cholesterol levels are, the LESS LIKELY they are to suffer from heart disease or any other form of sickness and the more likely they are to live longer. If you would like to see the articles, let me know. I have them in the office. The public is incredibly misinformed and they don’t know where to turn.
Perhaps I am TOO WELL informed. I don’t know where to turn sometimes either. This is why I am turning to you in this newsletter. We need your help. Please, spread the word. There is a better way. You can actually have the causes of your symptoms diagnosed and treated and you can get better. There is no need for stem cells, there is no need for hormone injections. It is not common for people to need medication even though some people do for a period of time. Soy is not a health food. Organic Whole Wheat bread may not necessarily be quite as healthy as some people think that it is. Nobody needs “extra” fiber so that they benefit by taking oat fiber or flax seed every day or some other fiber-like buckwheat. These things may seem smart and they may be discussed on the radio and on T.V. and on the Internet, but they are just gimmicks to sell people things. Our ancestors did not eat flax seeds. Nobody has an Acai juice deficiency – that is ridiculous. These juices are loaded with sugar. Yes, I know, they have a ton of antioxidants in them. However, these antioxidants are not nearly as effective as the bilirubin which your body is processing constantly and putting back into bile salts. Can you imagine taking pristine spring water that comes from the top of one of the most beautiful glaciers in the world and then putting some lead in it? Is it just as healthy once the lead is in there? Of course not. Well, those antioxidants in the Acai juice become biochemically worthless when combined with all of the sugar found in the beverage. For really toxic people they may feel better for a period of time. However, it is mainly just their SYMPTOMS that are going away. The CAUSE of their symptoms still remain and the symptoms themselves may or may not return with a vengeance. 1000 years ago Hypocrites would say: “The highest good is to find the cause [of the health concern].” Treating symptoms may bring about great results. However, the results of treating symptoms can’t be compared to the long term permanent and deep healing that comes about through structural, chemical, emotional, electromagnetic, spiritual, mental and physiological therapies that address the underlying causes of the causes of symptoms. Diagnosis is the key. A plummer cannot fix a leak until he/she finds out where the leak is. Treating infection with pain killers is idiotic. The infection itself must be addressed or else it could spread and lead to more difficulties. A car mechanic does not just start replacing parts on a car that is not working correctly. First, the mechanic does some diagnostic tests. Once it is determined what is wrong through analysis and diagnosis, THEN and only then may the faulty part be replaced. D.D. Palmer who was the founder of chiropractic once said, “Many patients imagine that they have tried everything. True, they have used many remedies, but they have never had the cause of their infirmity adjusted.” He has also been quoted as saying: “There is a vast difference between treating effects and adjusting the cause.” Another quote from D.D. Palmer reads: “When educated intelligence can communicate with innate intelligence, a point at which the not too distant future may hold, then a correct diagnosis and treatment will be made and rendered.” There is a lot of misinformation out there. Getting the facts when it comes to our health and how to approach it is incredibly important. Many people like to discuss the benefits of being a vegetarian. They argue that the fruits and vegetables that they eat are loaded with nutrients. They are correct. Organic fruits and vegetables are loaded with nutrients IN A LAB. In other words, if you analyze fruits and vegetables in a laboratory setting, you can find high levels of nutrients in many fruits and vegetables. You can find huge percentages of a variety of different important vitamins, minerals, amino acids, phytochemicals, enzymes, and co-enzymes. However, when real live humans actually eat these fruits and vegetables they are only able to absorb small amounts of these nutrients. So, they are not getting huge amounts of the nutrients that are found in the laboratory analysis. The charts that show levels of nutrients for different fruits and vegetables are inaccurate as they do not show how much of these nutrients are actually absorbed by real live human beings. Nutrients are not absorbed in test tubes, they are absorbed in digestive tracts. Certainly, fruits and vegetables are an important part of most healthy people’s diets, however, they are a bit over-rated and misunderstood when it comes to their role in human health and nutrition.
