Point Of Use Water Treatment

There is a lot of talk about water treatment and water filters these days. As a matter of fact, it has been very popular to discuss water treatment for the last 25 years or so. Here are some questions that people love asking:

  1. What is the best type of water filtration?
  2. What is the healthiest type of water to drink?
  3. I don’t want to drink water out of plastic bottles because I am concerned about BPAs and phthalates. So, what do I do?
  4. If I want to have affordable water to drink, then what type of water should I drink? I don’t have the money to pay $6 or $8 a gallon or more for water. So, what is cost-effective and healthy?
  5. What is wrong with reverse osmosis water?
  6. Isn’t distilled or reverse osmosis water the best water?
  7. Aren’t all bottled waters pretty much the same?
  8. Doesn’t bottled water cost a lot more than using point-of-use water filtration? I mean, let’s face it, if you filter the water at the source, it comes to a few pennies per gallon, whereas if you get bottled water, the cost is approximately $1 per gallon or more.
  9. Alkaline water is best, isn’t it? Doesn’t everyone know that?

With all of these questions and quandaries, a person could drive themselves crazy. Do me a favor. CALM DOWN! Take a Deep Breath In for 8 seconds.  Hold your breath for four seconds.  EXHALE FOR 8 SECONDS. REPEAT. We are going to get your questions answered. There is someone who has figured all of this stuff out. All you need to do is follow my lead. I am an expert. I, personally, was involved in water treatment for no less than 8 years. I learned an awful lot in that time. I have learned about water treatment directly from several different types of manufacturers.  I have investigated and tested numerous different types of water for many, many years, and I have even compared notes with a variety of excellent doctors from all over the world for a number of years as well. Additionally, I have studied and read about and learned about water for quite some time. In my opinion, the best body of work on water comes from Dr. Masaru Emoto’s work, “The Hidden Messages in Water.”

Water is sacred. Literally. Water has been used in nearly all traditions and religions since the beginning of time for cleansing and purifying. One of the things that made ancient Rome and Greece so powerful was that they had developed a way to access running water throughout their ancient cities. They had a constant supply of water from which they were able to draw upon. In Rome, the water is still available to drink by the public, just as it was several hundred years ago. It is truly amazing.

Feel free to search the Internet and learn about bioresonance theory.  You could learn a lot. Water is an “information system.” Water is a carrier of information. 75 to 80% of our bodies are made of water. A newborn baby is nearly 90% water. Water is truly amazing. The type of water that you drink makes a big difference in your health. There is no doubt about it. This blog post is not meant to “convince” anyone of anything. I am trying to offer you some valuable information that could help you.

Is it alright if I ask you a question? Thank you for that. What did I learn after 8 years of being in water treatment? I thought I knew it all about the best type of water treatment and water filtration. Why? Because someone was selling me how great the water treatment that they had developed was. And the marketing and sales were very effective, so I bought it hook, line, and sinker. But it wasn’t true. It was based on false information. Whether the people who trained me about water treatment had good intentions or not is not the point. The point is that water treatment, no matter how great it is, does one thing and one thing only. Water treatment is designed and good at filtering water AT THE POINT OF USE. What does this mean? What it means is that “treated water” is just that. It is treated. I don’t want to eat treated food, and I don’t want to drink treated water. Why? No matter how much you treat and try to fix “broken” water, it will never work. The water is damaged. It is tainted. It is polluted. It is poison. No matter how hard you try to fix, unpollute, or unpoison municipally treated tap water, it will never work. In the end, you just end up with much cleaner, but still poisoned, municipally treated tap water. It has been adulterated. It is ruined. The electron spin of the atoms in the water has been altered. You cannot undo this. And if you try, you will fail. Why? Because you are not really supposed to be trying to improve upon Mother Nature in that way. So what is the solution? The solution is to STAY CALM and keep reading this blog post.

We don’t want to start with city tap water, filter it, and expect some miracle water to come out on the other end of the filter. Instead, why not just drink some sort of great, heavenly, pristine, pure, and utopian water? Am I serious? Yes, I am. Such water does exist. If you go up into the mountains in California, Colorado, or a number of other states in this country and mountainous springs and streams all over the world, you are able to find springs that have not been polluted. Then, you can take the spring water, which is not city tap water, and run the spring water through a very high-quality granular activated carbon filter with coconut shell carbon and KDF filtration and all of that good stuff that is safe, like ozone and ultraviolet light, and then you can stick that into a container such as a glass container and then drink it. This is the type of water that we should be drinking. The same water we have been drinking since BEFORE we were walking upright on two legs. This is the same water that has always worked and always will work.

Now, here is another question we could ask. “Is there any possible way to safely drink water at the tap?” Yes, there is. Let me share with you how… But I promise you this was not the answer you were expecting. You take the water from the tap, you put it into a bowl, and you can either let it sit in the bowl until it evaporates or put the water into the ground. Next, wait for this water to evaporate into the air, and then after a period of time it will rise up into a cloud. Then it will rain down and go into a stream or a mountaintop. Then it can be gathered up by yourself or a water bottling company, and they will process that water to make it safe, put it into a glass container, and then you can purchase that water from whatever company is selling it. So, this is the way that you can safely drink city tap water. I don’t find this very practical, but different strokes for different folks.

Have you ever read my blog post called “God’s Water”? No? Well, read it. It is right here in this blog. Just go to the search bar over there on the upper right and type in “God’s Water,” and the blog post will come up. I highly recommend it as preparation for this blog post that you are now reading.

Don’t water treatment systems take all of the chemicals that are in city tap water out of the water? Isn’t that why some of them cost so much money? No, they do not take all of the chemicals out of the city tap water. Speaking of which… What are the chemicals that are in city tap water? I am so glad that you asked. Are you ready for the answer? Are you sure? Ok, good. Here below is a list of just a few of the chemicals that can be commonly found in city tap water:

Benzine
Trichloroethylene
Toluene
Ammonia
Chlorine
Pesticides
Herbicides
Fungicides
Insecticides
Food emulsifiers
Food stabilizers
Food colorings
Food additives
Trihalomethane
Chlorofluorocarbons
Methane
Lead
Arsenic
Mercury
Fluoride
Chlorine
Radioactive material
Antidepressant medication
Blood pressure medication
Aluminum
Anti-seizure medication
Blood thinners
Diuretics
Other medications
Other heavy metals
Zeno estrogens
Phthalates
Bisphenol A
Cryptosporidium
Copper

Very high-quality water treatment systems remove most of these chemicals, but they do not remove all of them. I don’t know about you, but I would prefer to have none of these chemicals in my water. I do not want to settle for just a few of them.

If I want to have affordable water to drink, then what type of water should I drink? I don’t have the money to pay $6 or $8 a gallon or more for water. So, what is cost-effective and healthy?

Good question. Thank you for asking. The environment has already been trashed. We now need sound, viable, implementable, actionable, affordable, profitable, and attainable solutions to today’s modern-day environmental catastrophe. I do not profess to provide such a solution directly. However, by raising people’s levels of consciousness in the office, we are able to allow individual people to make a greater positive impact on society. This translates into solutions for our modern-day environmental dilemma. While I do not recommend drinking water out of plastic containers, I have had patients purchase a couple of different bottled waters that were stored in plastic containers, and they were able to drink the water and still progress with the therapies that we offer. The type of water that they consumed did not interfere with the progress that they were able to make through their custom-tailored and personalized program that utilized Dr. Ilya Skolnikoff’s Path to Health. Of course, the drawback is that many of these plastics are difficult to recycle. The process of recycling requires a large amount of water. There is a slight chance that plastic intended to be recycled does not ever make it to the recycling plant to get reused. So these types of things are a concern. When you find better solutions, please contact our office in order that we can let our patients know about these solutions. Make sure to read through the “God’s Water” post before contacting our office.

ALKALINE WATER: IS IT THE BEST?

Probably not. Different people may need slightly different waters with slightly different pH. However, the information found in these blog posts tends to be the most accurate information that can be safely used for everyone reading the blog post. It is very, very, very, very rare for someone to not be able to get properly hydrated by drinking quality spring water. Most of the patients in my patient population are already too alkaline. What do I mean by that? I mean that their gastro-intestinal tract tends to be excessively alkaline. Therefore, drinking alkaline water for those patients who are already alkaline further exacerbates their condition. If they are already suffering from dysbiosis (an imbalance in friendly gut bacteria), then alkaline water will often aggravate their condition. If they have excessively high levels of mold, yeast, fungus, or candida, then alkaline water will create an environment in which the mold, yeast, fungus, and candida will thrive. This is not good because then the patient becomes more ill. Their infection gets worse. There are exceptions to this. The idea here is balance. If you are drinking water that is too alkaline, you can create an imbalance. If you drink water that is too acidic, you can create an imbalance. So, the water should be pH neutral. However, if you think that this is the entire solution to the right type of water, the pH, then think again. Water is complex and should be safe to consume… It should be hydrating when you drink it. It should not dehydrate you. Nothing here that I am sharing is really earth-shattering new information. It is a common sense approach that has worked for humanity since before we started walking on two legs. Why not do what works? Why try to re-invent the wheel?
