Triad Of Health Family Healing Center has routinely been offering our free thyroid workshop entitled The Seven Pitfalls You Must Avoid to Heal Your Thyroid. In this video below, we are able to hear directly from Dr. Ilya Skolnikoff as he discusses the relationship between sugar addiction and cocaine addiction. We hope you find this helpful.
The renin angiotensin system controls blood pressure through the sodium/potassium pump. Without aldosterone, this renin angiotensin system that converts angiotensin I to angiotensin II will not work properly. Remember that much of the absorption of calcium, sodium, and potassium in the body does happen in the tubules of the kidneys. The colon is another important place for mineral absorption that is often overlooked. Weak adrenal glands will dramatically compromise mineral absorption at every level. Aldosterone is the main mineral corticoid coming from the adrenal cortex. ADH (anti-diuretic hormone) coming from the posterior pituitary also plays an important role in this process. One should keep in mind that the hypothalamus, pituitary, and adrenal glands all work very closely together through the hypothalamic, pituitary, and adrenal axis.
This video below also discusses digestive disorders and insomnia. It is only 2 minutes and 29 seconds long.
