Ayurveda, Homeopathy and the 7 Chakras—The Vibrational Medicine
of The Skolnikoff Method
Are You Ready for Real Change?
Are you looking for something different? Are you ready to make meaningful changes to improve your health and Natural Hormone Balance?
Understanding Natural Hormone Balance is crucial for your overall well-being.
If so, it’s essential to recognize that real transformation requires a new approach. It’s not about which nutritional supplement company you’re using. What matters most is that:
-
The therapies used are effective
-
They are tailored to your body
-
And they address your unique metabolic imbalances
The diagnosis and assessment are the starting point. If those aren’t accurate and individualized, then it doesn’t matter which nutrients, herbs, or homeopathics you use.
It’s Not About the Brand—It’s About the Method
If the therapies are specific and effective enough, you might not need any herbs, homeopathy, nutrition, flower essences, or even supplements at all. That’s right.
The most important factor in your healing is not the tools—it’s the skill and insight of the practitioner using them.
We need to explore what truly makes The Skolnikoff Method at Triad Of Health Family Healing Center in San Rafael so unique.
If a practitioner’s work is so effective that you don’t need any of those interventions, why would it matter if they were available at all? It only makes a difference in the advent that you do need herbs, homeopathy, nutrition, flower essences or a similar intervention during or after the treatment…if these therapeutic options are not available then they cannot and will not be able to be used during the treatment. This is very common sense. However, if these options are available then each one can be checked for its need and use throughout the treatment and at the end of the treatment. We need to explore some of the therapies used by The Skolnikoff Method at Triad Of Health Family Healing Center in San Rafael.
This entire approach is completely different from anything you’ve encountered before, even if it sounds familiar. I assure you—it is not as similar as you might think.
This approach emphasizes Natural Hormone Balance as a fundamental aspect of health.
“Do You Use Standard Process Products?”
People often ask:
“Do you use Standard Process in your office or do you use another company’s products?”
If you’re seeking support for thyroid conditions, hormone imbalances, mood disorders, or autoimmune diseases, it’s natural to want high-quality products.
But a far more important question is:
“What kind of training and clinical skill has allowed you to help so many people recover without depending on endless supplements?”
Another vital question is:
“How do you perform structural, chemical, and emotional therapies in such a way that a patient who needed 10 different nutrients at the beginning of treatment may only need one—or none—by the end?”
A Question from a Medical Doctor…
A physician who uses hormone therapy in her practice once asked:
“If I’m having hormone imbalances, what can you do to help me—without giving me hormones?”
That’s a profound question. The answer is also complex.
As the author of a 700-page book on diagnosing and treating hormone imbalances, I can tell you there are countless tools. For example:
-
Glandulars can support underperforming organs
-
Emotional clearing therapies can free the body from early trauma
-
Structural adjustments and energy medicine can dramatically shift endocrine function
- Flower Essences were original developed by Dr. Edward Bach with the intention of removing the need for vaccinations. This powerful modality has proven to bring about tremendous healing for people all over the world, including natural hormone balancing when done properly.
Words, Water, and Healing: Dr. Masaru Emoto’s Work
Dr. Masaru Emoto’s groundbreaking research, featured in The Hidden Messages in Water, shows how words affect water molecules.
-
Positive words (like “love”) create beautiful, symmetrical crystal structures
-
Negative words (like “hate”) result in disordered, ugly structures
Since our bodies are about 98% water on a molecular level, this research has profound implications.
I regularly use energy medicine techniques that utilize Dr. Emoto’s findings to help my patients heal at a deep level.
Many scientists believe his work is among the most important discoveries for human health in the past 100 years.
Can Chiropractic Adjustments Balance Hormones?
Yes, yes, yes, yes. Absolutely.
The sphenoid bone in your skull connects to 14 other cranial bones and is a central part of the primary respiratory mechanism of the body. It moves with each breath you take.
When this bone is misaligned, it can disrupt:
-
Hormones
-
Cranial fluid flow
-
Blood pressure
-
General health
When the barriers to healing are removed, the body begins to self-regulate and heal—especially hormonally.
In the image below you can see the skull (calavarium) with the sphenoid bone in the center. Sphenoid in Latin is a word that means butterfly shape. The sphenoid is the shape of a butterfly.
“I’ve Seen Something Like This Before…This seems familiar”
After receiving their first exam, many people say,
“I’ve seen something like this before.”
They may have experienced practitioners using:
-
Herbs
-
Nutrition
-
Energy healing
But here’s the truth:
What they haven’t seen is a method like The Skolnikoff Method that uses all of these therapies, in the right order, and with precision to create transformation.
If you had experienced the power of our therapies already, you probably would not be reading this blog post because your symptoms and main health concerns would have already been resolved. You might find yourself on one of our testimonial videos of one of our patients that has totally transformed their life.
Our patients often tell us after their first treatment visit, “How come my other healthcare provider never did any of these things? How come he/she did not perform these therapies to help my back? How dome he/she did not do this type of energy medicine to help me feel so much better?”
The 7 Chakras: Energy Centers of Healing and Vibrational Medicine
In our work, we often integrate chakra assessment as part of evaluating energetic blocks and guiding healing. Below is a detailed chart that connects the chakra system to the endocrine glands, organs, emotional themes, musical notes, and nutrients:
What are the 7 Chakras?
7 Chakra System Overview Reference Table
| Chakra | Name | Color | Location | Organ & Gland | Emotional Theme | Musical Note | Nutrient |
| 1 | Root (Muladhara) | Red | Base of Spine where the anus is | Adrenals, kidneys, legs, colon | Survival, safety, grounding | C | Iron, B12 |
| 2 | Sacral (Syadhisthana) | Orange | Lower abdomen where the genitals are | Reproductive organs, bladder | Emotions, sexuality, creativity | D | Zinc, Omega-3s |
| 3 | Solar Plexus (Manipura) | Yellow | Stomach/diaphragm area | Liver, pancreas, digestive organs, gallbladder | Confidence, willpower, self-esteem | E | B-complex, Chromium |
| 4 | Heart (Anahata) | Green | Center of chest | Heart, lungs, thymus gland | Love, compassion, forgiveness, frightfully overjoyed, abnormal laughing, lack of emotion, rapid mannerisms and speech, talkative | F | Vitamin E, CoQ10 |
| 5 | Throat (Vishuddha) | Blue | Throat | Thyroid, parathyroid, vocal cords | Expression, truth, communication | G | Iodine and Selenium |
| 6 | Third Eye (Ajna) | Indigo | Forehead, between eyebrows | Pituitary gland, eyes, sinuses, pineal gland | Intuition, insight, imagination | A | Vitamin A, Lutein |
| 7 | Crown (Sahasrara) | Violet | Top of head | Pineal gland, brain | Spirituality, connection to higher self, God | B | Vitamin D, Magnesium |
✅ Note: These correspondences are drawn from yogic traditions, vibrational medicine, and integrative health perspectives. Practitioners use this chakra framework to pinpoint physical dysfunctions that may stem from unresolved emotional trauma or spiritual disconnect. Each chakra corresponds to a different endocrine gland, musical tone, and emotional theme. We may evaluate your chakra system through energetic testing, assessing whether an issue is primarily structural, chemical, or emotional in origin.
The Sacral Chakra and Female Hormones
Please look again at the chart below. Note carefully that the Root chakra is related to the kidneys and adrenal glands and also the anus. The sacral chakra which is the 2nd chakra from the bottom is related to the family and it is related to the genitals. The ovaries and uterus of a female metabolize all of the sex and longevity and stress hormones a lot like the adrenal glands from the 1st chakra (root chakra). These primary hormones are estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, other androgens, estradiol, estrium, estriol, cortisol, and aldosterone. The main hormones are estrogen and progesterone that are metabolized in the uterus and ovaries. The vagina requires estrogen for normal function but doesn’t produce a large amount of it.
Emotional Aspects and Effects of the Heart Chakra
Go ahead and take a look at some of the emotions involved with the heart in all of these charts. We are used to mainly considering love but their are others. And, is love really an emotion? The chart above is better to reference under “What Are the 7 Chakras?”
| Chakra | Color | Organ/Gland | Emotion | Note | Nutrient |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Root | 🔴 Red | Kidneys, Adrenal glands, anus | Stability | C | Iodine |
| 2. Sacral | 🟠 Orange | Reproductive organs | Creativity | D | Zinc |
| 3. Solar Plexus | 🟡 Yellow | Pancreas, Digestive system, gallbladder, liver | Willpower | E | B complex |
| 4. Heart | 🟢 Green | Heart, Thymus gland | Love | F | Vitamin C |
| 5. Throat | 🔵 Blue | Thyroid gland, Lungs | Expression | G | Vitamin D |
| 6. Third Eye | 🟣 Indigo | Pituitary gland, Brain | Intuition | A | Magnesium |
| 7. Crown | 🟪 Violet | Pineal gland | Spirituality | B | Omega-3 |
Nutrients That Support Heart Energy
The nutrients that support heart energy are identical to the nutrients that help with high blood pressure or low blood pressure or heart disease and overall heart health. A few of those nutrients outlined in these charts are vitamin C, Vitamin E, CoQ10. There are lots of other nutrients that support heart health such as magnesium and potassium and calcium and selenium and hawthorne and horsechestnut and adrenal gland nutrients but that is for another blog post. Just try to get the basic understanding of how all of these things are inter-related.
How Chakras Influence Hormonal Health
How Holistic Providers Use the Chakra System
In vibrational medicine, the chakras are more than colorful concepts — they are energetic maps to health. Skilled practitioners like those using The Skolnikoff Method may identify that thyroid issues are linked not just to iodine deficiency but to blocked expression (5th chakra), or that chronic digestive issues are rooted in self-esteem (3rd chakra). The emotional, biochemical, and structural components of health intersect at the chakras. The chakras are the energy centers that control the glands that produce the hormones. In many ways, the chakras are far, far more important than the glands of your body because they control those glands. And, as we can see from these charts, the bladder is also related to the 2nd chakra. For those who have undergone excessive stress, their bladder tends to fall down (prolapsed bladder) and sometimes they even need to get a surgery to keep it from falling further. Some women may be given a pessary to hold their bladder in. Image of pessary below.

Chakra testing, often using muscle testing or other forms of energetic assessment, can reveal where the patient’s body needs priority healing, be it a cranial release for a stuck sphenoid or an emotional clearing for stored trauma.
Each Color Relates to a Different Chakra as You Can See from this Repeated Chart Below:

How are the 7 Chakras Related to the Traditional Chinese Medicine

The chart below is a little bit messy and does have a few error in it, mainly in the Additional Meridians section and to some extent the Primary Meridians. Some words are cut off or there is no space between the two words. However, I still think it is a good chart and helps you to see how each one of these systems is related to the other. It is really quite simple and straightfoward to see the relationships. Each chakra has a name that is related to the anatomy of the body that it is named after. The chakra system originally comes from India. Each chakra also corresponds to a specific number, starting from the first chakra at the anus and ending at the seventh chakra just above the top of the head. There are many, many books written about the chakras and their importance to humanity. In the next chart below this one here you will learn about some of the relationships between the chakras, Christianity and ancient Judaism. Most people are not aware of these relationships, or, they think these religions and their origins are completely separate, which they are not. Most of these ancient religions, including Buddhism, are directly related. For those who are theologists, I would hope that they would understand this.
Chakra-Color-Organ/Gland-Emotion-Meridian Correlations
As promised, below you can see the link between the 7 Sacraments of Christianity, the Ten Sefirot from the Ancient Jewish Kabbalah and the 7 chakras from the Indian tradition. One of my favorite books on this subject is called Anatomy of the Spirit by Caroline Myss. She has other excellent books on this subject at well. I sincerely hope you are able to pick up her book.

Understanding the Ayurvedic Doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha
Ayurveda, India’s ancient medical system, categorizes people and imbalances into three constitutional types or doshas:
| Dosha | Elements | Qualities | Governs | Imbalance Symptoms |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vata | Air + Ether | Dry, light, cold, mobile | Nervous system, movement | Anxiety, insomnia, constipation |
| Pitta | Fire + Water | Hot, sharp, intense | Digestion, metabolism, hormones | Anger, inflammation, ulcers |
| Kapha | Earth + Water | Heavy, slow, steady | Structure, immunity, lubrication | Lethargy, congestion, weight gain |
Ayurvedic assessment can guide diet, lifestyle, and emotional healing by identifying which dosha is out of balance.
🔍 How They’re Used in Diagnosis and Treatment
An Ayurvedic diagnosis involves determining which dosha is in excess or depletion. For example:
-
A Vata-type patient with insomnia and dry skin may need grounding, warming foods, and calming therapies.
-
A Pitta-type with skin rashes and irritability may benefit from cooling herbs, stress relief, and liver support.
-
A Kapha-type with fatigue and weight gain may need stimulation, detox, and lightening therapies.
When paired with chakra assessment, dosha evaluation adds an even more precise energetic lens. A 3rd chakra imbalance in a Pitta patient might indicate that both liver heat and unprocessed anger are behind digestive issues.
Based on Your Nature—What Dosha Are You?
I am a Pitta / Vata. I have intense curiosity, passion for healing, precision with systems, emotional insight, and leadership qualities,…my constitution most closely resembles Pitta-Vata:
-
Pitta (dominant): sharp intellect, strong drive, results-focused
-
Vata (secondary): visionary, sensitive, spiritually inclined
As a Pitta-Vata, I am uniquely suited to work at the intersection of science and spirit, energy and structure, emotion and biology. What Dosha are you?
Final Thoughts
Healing is not just about eliminating symptoms. It’s about identifying the true root causes, clearing emotional blocks, restoring structural alignment, and tuning the body’s subtle energy systems.
The Skolnikoff Method does all of this—because no one is just a liver, or a thyroid, or a hormone. You are a complete being. Your health deserves an approach just as complete.
